Just three minutes into the second half, AC Milan beat Bologna 3-0 when Adrien Rabiot capped an impressive all-round performance with a clinical finish.
The midfielder found space on the edge of the area and fired a powerful shot past Ravaglia, effectively ending the contest and allowing Milan to manage the remainder of the match with confidence and control.
From that point on, Allegri’s side dictated the tempo, keeping the ball well and limiting Bologna’s chances of mounting a comeback.
Late Bologna Pressure Comes to Nothing
Bologna attempted to rally late in the match and nearly found a consolation goal through Niclas Füllkrug. The German striker went close on two occasions in the closing minutes, testing Milan’s defence and goalkeeper.
However, Ravaglia ensured the scoreline remained respectable for the hosts by keeping both efforts out, preventing the margin from becoming even wider.
Despite those late moments, Bologna struggled overall to cope with Milan’s intensity, movement, and quality in the final third.
