Global flexible workspace provider International Workplace Group (IWG) has expanded its presence in Kenya with the launch of three new flexible workspaces across Nairobi, as demand for hybrid work solutions continues to rise among businesses and professionals.
The expansion, undertaken through a partnership with local property investor Sachit Raja-Shah, introduces new workspace facilities under the HQ and Regus brands in Nairobi’s key commercial districts. The move is expected to support businesses seeking cost-effective office solutions while reducing commuting times for workers.
The new centres include HQ I&M Tower in Nairobi’s central business district, HQ Nairobi Business Park along Ngong Road, and Regus 1 Park Avenue in Parklands. Together, the facilities provide 687 workstations designed to cater to businesses ranging from startups and entrepreneurs to large enterprises.
HQ I&M Tower, located within Nairobi’s financial district, offers 157 workstations and targets professionals in finance, legal and consulting sectors. The centre will also host networking forums and business events aimed at fostering deal-making and professional collaboration.
Meanwhile, HQ Nairobi Business Park, the largest of the three facilities with 265 workstations, is positioned to serve enterprise clients and scaling businesses. Located along Ngong Road, the hub will host technology meetups and corporate wellness programmes to strengthen engagement within Nairobi’s growing innovation ecosystem.
Regus 1 Park Avenue, also offering 265 workstations, is situated in Parklands and targets professionals seeking premium workspace solutions. The centre will feature executive networking sessions and entrepreneurship workshops as part of efforts to build a vibrant business community.

IWG said the partnership allows building owners to maximise returns on their real estate investments by tapping into the growing demand for flexible office space.
According to IWG Chief Executive Officer and Founder Mark Dixon, the expansion reflects a permanent shift in how businesses and employees approach work.
“We are establishing a stronger and much-needed footprint in Nairobi with these latest openings. The demand for flexible work is a permanent transformation driven by companies that recognise it boosts productivity and lowers costs, and by employees who want a better work-life balance with a shorter commute,” said Dixon.
Sachit Raja-Shah noted that the partnership seeks to address the changing needs of businesses as organisations increasingly embrace hybrid and flexible working models.
“We are excited to partner with IWG to introduce globally recognised brands such as Regus and HQ in Nairobi. Through this partnership, we aim to deliver world-class solutions that support the evolving needs of enterprises and entrepreneurs across Kenya,” he said.
IWG Kenya Country Manager Peter Kibera added that the new centres are expected to generate broader economic benefits by increasing activity around surrounding businesses and services.
“By establishing these centres, we are not only providing world-class facilities for businesses but also creating a ripple effect that boosts the local economy and footfall for surrounding retailers and services,” said Kibera.
The expansion comes as companies worldwide continue to adopt hybrid working arrangements, increasing demand for flexible office space that combines professional facilities with greater convenience for employees.
